"For Our City - Gilbert is bridging gaps between needs and resources.  We are providing siloed resources with opportunity to be put to good use.  Our goal is to make sure that need is noticed and energize volunteers to act in response.  Perhaps our biggest 'need' is having ears to hear and eyes to see. Until then we might as well be shooting in the dark. For Our City is here to turn the lights on and invite everyone to come and serve each other, irrespective of background, beliefs or political affiliation."

Victor Petersen is a general manager of a locally run construction company, he oversees project budgets, system efficiencies, contracts, and information technology. He loves community and is constantly reading books, researching, and asking questions to ensure that the volunteers are equipped and efficiently utilized.  He is known as a man of integrity, hard working, a compassionate husband and father, always wanting and looking for ways to serve those around him. His greatest passion and desire is to ensure FREEDOM for ALL.  Victor is a proven vigilant leader who serves with a passion to champion the principles of freedom.  Three things stand out about Victor, first his tireless study of the details, secondly his leadership in connecting volunteers with needs in our community and third his firm commitment to building a vibrant and self sustaining community.
