Message from CARE Inc Founder

Jon McHatton
CARE Inc Founder.

It was a first-time meeting of mayors and faith-community leaders. After introductions, a pastor asked, "Can you tell us, Mayors, what do your cities need?"

The host Mayor replied, "That is rather humorous that you asked us this question, because we were going to ask you the same question."

Surprised laughter ensued as everyone realized that our agendas and expectations for the meeting were way off the mark.  We were seeing that the other person or influential sector had the answer rather than perceiving that the answer is in all of us collaborating, strategizing and then implementing solutions. We all, working together, are the solution we need. It is in cooperation and collaboration that we strengthen community. As we work together, we become the answer to the individual, difficult questions. It was a defining moment for CARE INC.  It made our mission clear.

George Washington said, "While just government protects all in their religious rights, true religion affords to government its surest support."

CARE INC is working to build a bridge for the government officials and communities to work together for a better Arizona. Please remember to sign up to receive your free eNewsletter with all the updates and events.

Thank you for your support for another "best practice" originated in Arizona that can be duplicated everywhere there is a desire to empower leaders to help people make their community a better place by serving and caring.
